Our lake is home to a variety of species of waterfowl, birds of prey, desert mammals, and BIG fish!
- Donaldson Steelhead – A hybrid steelhead that has the same agressive will as the northwest coastal steelhead.These fish have “attitudes” and can weigh up to 12 lbs.
- Kamloops Trout – “Keep the slack up.” These fish will charge the boat (“hang on!”), and will scream away fast! If landed, they can reach up to 10 lbs.
- Mt. Lassen Rainbow Trout – A beautiful strain of rainbows, with vibrant coloration. A third of these “footballs” will weigh over 5 lbs.
